Ch ch changes!

  • I ate too much bread tonight, hense now I feel sick.
  • I also shouldn't drink at 10:00 in the morning when feeling faint.
  • I should perhaps stop sleeping for 3 hours when I get back from school, as it makes it all the more difficult to get to sleep at night.
  • Finally, I need to stop caring.
My grammar interview was scary. I'm pretty sure I redefined 'waffle'. Seriously, I have never heard so much bull shit come out of someones mouth.

I'm one of the few people out there who didn't think that last nights skins was a complete travisty. Personally, I found it perhaps a little too restrained, that being said I still quite liked it. I love Frankie and can't wait to see more of her character being developed. However I dislike the fact that just because she wears no make up, has a comb over and wears suits she is some freaky lezza social douchebag who everybody (including the vast majority of viewers) HATES. I dislike that mainly for the reason that I have been known on occassion to go out with no make up, a comb over and wearing a suit that would make hurts weak at the knees. What ya'll chattin about? I think she's nice. Not a fugly boy.

I was dissappointed to find out that Jersey Shore isn't on DVD yet. I desperately need the second series but according to HMV guy (love that guy, he's a legend) series 1 hasn't even made its way onto DVD in the UK!

Adele is fucking amazing.

It sort of/kind of/definitely annoys me when people only ever post pictures on their blog. I mean it's not like I've got anything against pictures, but it would occasionally be nice to read about people's lives, their opinions on our mind-boggling world and what they had for breakfast this morning.

//RANT OVER.

I hate sounding wise and insightful but this weekend I swear I've discovered emotions within me that I never knew were there. As the days draw on I'm becoming ridiculously paranoid, my hearing is fading and I have the social skills of my dear Holmes [Sorry Sherlock]. I have become completely humiliated with myself and just want to run away from everything and find Theo and Adam. They'd put a smile on my face.... There we have it again, people just cutting me off like nothing's wrong. I'm fed up with life and my defeatist attitude towards the people and places that surround me are becoming quite surreal. This all being said, I know that there's other people out there who have it far worse than me and have more substantial reasons to feel like I do. But please no one try and trivialise and steal my thunder. For once, I'm allowed to be the one upset. For once I'm allowed to be one sat in the corner with nothing to say to no one. I'm a sociopath, faking these smiles and pretending everything's fine is my forte.

But yes, I have an armful of Parish's downstairs who I should probably be getting back too. I love these guys, they're like family to me. However, I reckon I'm going to polite retire to bed because I am shattered and my eyes are sore.

Time

It's nearing that time for essential cram revision, mainly for my Chemistry retakes. I literally have no idea what any of it means.

-

So commencing next Tuesday lunch time is Russian club. There is a God up there. I've wanted to learn Russian for so long now! And I dare say that I will be if not the only one then only among a few brave enough to show up.

I would actually rather be at school right now opposed to sitting in front of this mac at home. I feel slightly nauseous.

This 'acoustic' video made me feel better too I guess.
Who doesn't like hurts? Take your fucking shirt off.

I'm starting to get a head cold. Time for some turnip soup. Actually scrap that, BED.
[There's no filter between my brain and my fingers typing this by the way] Ooh, according to my hand I love Ringo Starr. Nice one. Night.

Best news I've heard in a while

So yeah basically, to cut a long story short I lost my mind Hurts tickets are on sale on the 6th! I'm so excited, because seeing them once at a festival really isn't enough. If you've ever seen them you'll understand what I mean when I say that they suit a dark, murky surrounding. I cannot wait to see Theo and Adam.. again.. Theo better bring a comb with him, if so I'm nabbing it.

Oh, I love them so much. Can you tell?

Devotion, save me now.

Listening to a song with the lyric "I don’t wanna stray from the hallowed ground" is as 'Halloween' as I get.

My parents brought me up with rather traditional values and don't buy into the whole ideology of celebrating something which is so completely banal. I quite enjoy the dressing up aspect of it but I don't get what's with the trick or treating, pumpkins and watching really horrific movies.
To me, like anything, it's just an excuse to go out on the lash with some good friends.

BUT YES APART FROM THIS! I went to the Criterion Restaurant today with father of mine, sister of mine, auntie of mine and two cousins of mine. It was surprsingly lovely! You wouldn't think that out of the front door lies Piccadilly Circus, at all. It's just oh so quiet and tranquil. And the restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated. You really have to go there to see what I mean. Another upside to it was that it wasn't nearly as posh as I had first expected. I mean three courses for £30 isn't bad if you ask me.

"On the very day that I had come to this conclusion, I was standing at the Criterion Bar, when some one tapped me on the shoulder, and turning round I recognized young Stamford, who had been a dresser under me at Barts. " - Doctor Watson, A Study In Scarlet.
This made me smile so much! There's actually a plaque inside the restaurant with the names Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson enscribed onto it. Absolute highlight of the entire experience was that Doctor Watson was there once upon a time, which led to him meeting Sherlock Holmes due to a meeting he had with an old friend etc... you know what I mean if you read what I mean.

So yes. In conclusion, a rather marvellous day. The only downside is that I had to come home.
Which means I have silly school in the morning. I think I'm allowed to use the term 'FML' in this instance, right?

Sorry but just one last thing on my beautiful darlings of hurts!!
This interview is adorable. Theo is ridiculously outgoing and talks to the interviewer really really really casually... which is so much fun to watch. PLUS, I'm presuming that they're partially drunk. This just makes the whole thing that bit more amusing.

[I LOVE YOU THEO. AND NO I'M NOT A CRAZY TEEN GIRL STALKER I JUST THINK THAT YOU'RE ONE ATTRACTIVE YOUNG SLEUTH.]

Just out of interest

Why on earth isn't this on the album? SERIOUSLY? It's such a good tune!

On a different note, I love this picture of hurts.

And then on a completely separate note, I really want a hurts comb.

And my final note will be the fact that I love how Theo is always seen with his comb. How many people casually carry a comb around with them? Apart from Danny Zuko.

So yes, I think I'm done with hurts spamming for now.

My job tonight is to quite simply SPAM hurts

Don't let go

Have I mentioned that I am totally in love with their style right now. SLEUTH SLEUTH SLEUTH. Marry me Theo? Or Adam? OR BOTH?!

But yes, this video is them in Athens... preparing for the MAD awards: THEY'RE SO ADORABLE.

And this video (which I'm sure has already been posted) is their performance later on at the award show. They make me so proud. I am actually a proud fan.

01:00

I'm a little bit tired as today has been the first day in a while where I have done actual work. But still absolutely no revision whatsoever.
I'm going to snuggle down with a bit of hurts playing in the background and a nice book about 18th century periodic history to settle down with.
xoxo bloggers.

I LOVE HURTS

SHALLOWNESS ALERT: THEO'S STYLE MAKES ME WANT TO CRY WITH HAPPINESS. I MEAN HE LOOKS LIKE SUCH A SLEUTH! (that's a compliment 'btw', for me)

And Adam looks really different in this interview. Like not just a little different... but really different... anyway! enough shallowness. Click here for my comments on the album, 'Happiness'.

hurts: New single

The lead singer looks oh so older in this particular video, plus he has grey hair.
I have to say though, I absolutely, profoundly adore their style.
