I love going on the NME website at the moment because it's absolutely littered with Thom Yorke. Well, to be fair, I don't really read the articles on NME because I get my dose a good few hours before the folks at NME hear about it.

There's quite a mix of characters on Question Time tonight. I haven't watched it in quite a few weeks actually. Admittidly out of ignorance because I'm useless when it comes to understanding international affairs and politics. The woman to watch tonight, for me anyway, will be Caroline Lucas, the only Green Party MP elected for office. I like her, and I like her views on most things. However Kelvin MacKenzie is on there, and he annoys the shit out of me. I suppose I would acuse him of bigotry.

This video and song, at least lyrically, makes me cry.
I've never really been a big supporter of blatant politcal music. However this song is an exception to the rule. Yes, the fact that it's Thom is partially to do with it. But it's more about the video, and the story behind the song. Harrowdown Hill really reflects something harrowing and evokes all that is sinister in this countries political system. I can't say I neccessarily believe all the conspiracies completely, however I do believe that one way or another, the British government drove Dr David Kelly to his death.

Yeah yeah yeah, whatever. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for our pal Ed, I mean rather him than his brother anyday. Personally though, I wanted Diane Abbott in. She's the only honest politician out of all of them, well as honest as those rather heartless beings can be anyway... But the point is is that she's the only politician to appeal to the general public. The only politician to truely compile with people's wants and needs for a tough talking, almost rebellious leader.

When I say rebellious by the way, I don't mean she throws TV's out of hotel rooms. I mean she's not afraid to put her hands up and say how shit her party is.
