apparently i only listen to gil-scott heron because thom yorke posted an office chart of him on the radiohead website today.

i posted this december of last year, way before the thom yorke fandom really begun. i've been listening to gil scott-heron for a long time now. and the fact that his death is being tarnished by this pathetic attempt of stereotyping me as a thom yorke fan girl is so direspectful. i have been feeling so incredibly low today because of this news, and will probably never be able to listen to 'NY is killing me' ever again because of its lyrics and now literal meaning. for stuck up people on tumblr who think that they are oh so all knowing, seriously do one. i'm not in the mood and you don't know me.

why do i even feel the need to justify myself? BECAUSE IT'S TUMBLR AND EVERYONE THINKS THAT WHAT THEY SAY IS OBVIOUSLY GOSPEL.
