Now, I like to think that we are all somewhat familar with the ground breaking work of Bosch. In fact, I would go as far to say that he is the only renaissance artist who's work I truly adore.
Take a look at the third panel of The Garden of Earthly Delights above and then take a wee glance at this Mcqueen dress from the Fall 2010 RTW collection:
Notice any similar figures spread across the torso of the dress?
i found a rachel blog! and you're right! it took me a while to realize but i rememeber reading somewhere that he had asked for digital images of bosch's work for this collection. (y'know, cause, obvs without that, we wouldn't wouldn't be left with some echo of the middle ages in our minds..)
